Though the concept of using a flying fish originated at the turn of the 20th century, G-FLY changed the game in making these baits easily accessible to the average angler by supplying Southern California’s finest tackle shops with a quality vacuum sealed product. The flying fish are sustainably caught one by one via hand dipnet by the same licensed fishermen who package and sell their product ensuring that only the best is supplied. G-FLY’s success has been based on the success of some of Southern California’s best anglers as well as the top charter operations on the coast. With G-FLY’s customers impressive track record of trophy bluefin to over 300lbs hitting the deck, one in particular stands out. It is the largest recreationally landed bluefin caught in the So Cal Bight, October 2020 the crew of the “Potesta” weighed in a massive 412lbs bluefin tuna.
